My students will be learning the different parts of plants and what they need to thrive. They will also learn when the best time is to plant different seeds & which plants will do best in an outdoor setting and which ones will do best in a greenhouse. With the help of a Master Gardener & a local farmer, students will learn how to plant, feed, water & weed different fruits and vegetables, while learning how farms and farmers benefit our community and economy. Students will understand the importance of creating a Healthy Plate.

About my class
