"Hand" delivering character is what makes the students at our school stand out. The students use their hand every morning to say the character ed pledge which states the five character traits they are working on and also receive paper hands when they are spotted showing good character. Our door for our grade just won the Character Education DOor Decorating Contest which featured a mailman, mailbox, and student letter to the school stating how they can show the pillars of character. My students love having jobs and putting mail and homework in the mailboxes would be an excellent way to teach students about jobs and responsibility.
