Getting supplemental material for my students printed is not always possible. Our printer in the building needs servicing regularly, and it is not always possible to print things when you need them. Often I find that I need to reteach a lesson, and I am not able to print a new activity to use with the students who did not understand the original lesson. This lack of being able to make quick adjustments during teaching slows down the learning process. I also need to send more enrichment activities home this year because of the pandemic closing schools most of last year. I will need to do remediation with my students as well. If I am selected for funding, I will be in a better position to meet my students' needs with just the activity that will help them with their reading development.
