Our mallet ensemble continues to grow as our music program becomes more and more established. Currently many of our students have to double up on instruments and share playing time. Whenever we can add another instrument or another layer of sound to our ensemble, another student is able to consistently have more playing time. These new instruments will allow our musicians to hear and learn new parts and create a fuller ensemble. The bass resonator bars are going to add a fantastic sound to ring out below the rest of the ensemble. The soprano metallophone adds a beautiful texture to the upper register that we do not currently have.
