These materials will make a difference in students' learning because they will have the essential element in education, they will be able to unlock their understanding of new concepts free of judgement. As Richard Riley, Former US Secretary of Education has said, to believe in arts education is to believe that "visual arts is one of the most creative ways we have to find the gold that is buried just beneath the surface". These glazes are perfect for advanced glaze application techniques for their final ceramic work. Their final project is to remake one of their assignments, making improvements to their designs, and finishing techniques. After choosing from Sgraffito Grecian vases, Coil Vessels, Trompe-l'œil Food, Slab Masks, Mitered Houses, or Teapots, they will incorporate the specialty glazes to utilize new techniques for their chosen projects. These glazes offer the students the ability to create stunning effects with one or more specialty glazes. They can be combined with other glazes and blended for multiple effects. Their creativity and vivid imaginations will be sparked as they train themselves to become confident young women and men. The arts enrich us all, and the supplies listed will give students the total curriculum they deserve.
