Our school technology is outdated and not working for today's educational demands. In addition we are in shortage of technology for out younger students. Due to Covid-19, students need to maintain the required social distance therefore, the need for more computers is a must. Laptops or Chromebook equipment are user friendly specially for the younger students.. I chose Chromebook because of affordability and easy to troubleshoot/repair than a regular laptop. HISD provides school wide WIFI, but when using Chromebooks students have a faster internet connection that allows them to work on interactive apps more efficiently.
