My students are readers and writers. A large part of the experience in seventh grade English is when students write essays after having ready several as models. Having a set of headphones in my classroom that are equipped with microphones will open up new opportunities for them. Now, not only will they will be able to continue to listen to other's words, but they will also get the unique experience of recording their own words and listening to those. This will help for fluency, editing, organizing ideas, as well as the entire writing process in general. Our current supplies limit us from this experience. My students need these new microphone-equipped, foldable headphones in order to become the best readers and writers they can be.
