My students are great and so is everyone at the school. At this school, we really stress our core values and 7 habits. We aim for students to make good choices by practicing the 7 habits and we have monthly assemblies awarding those that do. My coworkers and I really aim to get the students engaged in the work while getting the knowledge across. We practice using manipulative's, games, and other ways to get the learning across. This year, I wanted to show a lot of work on the board, but with a document camera it's hard. My students love examining each others work and at the side of the room, the whiteboard isn't as effective as in the front. With the right tools, my students are often engaged and eager to learn!
