Each morning I am greeted by 24 of the most inspiring, eager, and hard-working students. Teaching them is much more than a job to me. The impact that they make on my life every day is overwhelming. Currently the majority of my students speak English as a second language and are part of a highly populated migrant community, which means they frequently travel state to state throughout the school year. The challenges they face with the language barrier range from reading comprehension to math fact fluency, but they never give up on you. They come to school every day and give it their absolute best. To their families education comes first, and I truly appreciate that, because I've never seen a group of students that are so eager to learn and come to school every day. The resources that I am seeking are intended to help me give these kids the best education that I can. They deserve it!
