I have 18 3 to 5 year olds daily. They are excited and curious when they walk through the door each day! I have a very diverse group of children from many different cultures with little exposure. They love to have my attention! I enjoy giving them that one on one time to talk, hug, laugh and learn. They like to socialize with their friends whom they learn a great deal from just by being in our "community of learners". After 20 years of teaching, It still amazes me how they come in unable to speak English or a complete sentence and by mid year they are understood by most and by the end of the school year they are talking in back and forth exchanges. I work in a wonderful community school where our parents are 100% supportive of us. Our administrators and colleagues are supportive of us as well with us being the only preschool classroom.
