I am the technology teacher for over 1,000 student in grades K-5 in Alabama. My students are at a Title 1 school where our current studio is a video camera and a laptop. Participating in a school production is a beneficial experience for students, and there are also school wide benefits to the morning news show. It becomes part of a classroom’s morning routine. Teachers and students have come to depend on it as an effective way to distribute information and reminders.
