This year I am jumping out of my comfort zone of traditional student desks and allowing students to choose a comfortable seat on which they can learn. My boys are very active as they are transitioning from elementary to a middle/high school campus. This flexible seating option, coupled with other options I have provided, will provide them with a seat of choice and allow them movement during the lesson. Do you sit at a desk sedentary every time you study, read a book, pay bills, use your computer, etc? Why should students be forced to sit at a desk when they are engaged in learning? The Kore Wobble Chair is a stool designed to allow movement when children are required to sit. Some of the noted benefits are that the chair builds strength, releases excess energy, and improves concentration. Children are allowed to move while they are learning. This will be exceptionally beneficial for a classroom full of busy boys.
