My students are bright, interested, and highly curious. The school atmosphere is supportive with high expectations for all, and many of my students have art classes outside of school. Like all kids these days, they have a huge interest in technology and I want to use that interest to spark their creativity rather than just consumption. My favorite artist quote is "I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way - things I had no words for." Georgia O'Keeffe I love that quote because it speaks to the part of us that can be hard to describe with words, I believe that through technology kids can create things they cannot say in any other way. I believe my students relate to this sentiment and will greatly benefit from this opportunity.
