These Activity mats will allow my students to have more structured physical activity in our classroom. The Color and Shapes mats will provide visual supports to help increase awareness of space and movement. The water play kit suggested will also provide the opportunity for us to vary the activities. We will be able to work on hand and eye coordination, following directions as well as counting all while moving and having fun. Our goal is to encourage our student to stay active and to have fun while doing it. We want them to view physical activity and exercise as a normal part or their day.
