My classroom consist of nine students with different developmental delays. I have seven boys and two girls. My students are very intrigued by technology and love to watch me take pictures on my phone and upload them for different projects. My students come from many different backgrounds, but all of them have parents that want the very best for their child.
I would love this project to be funded so that I can send pictures of classroom activities and or objects/videos directly to their parents phone or tablet that they have at home. This ability will make our school to home bond stronger and therefore increase student success. The students in my class are creative and this project would allow them to create interactive projects and lessons that would be beneficial. Often the typical paper/pencil activities are difficult for kids like mine, so I try to make learning fun. Digital photography and video will allow my kids to succeed in the classroom in ways they did not think possible.
