I teach in a school filled with students hungry to learn. Many come from poverty, language is a struggle, and home life is not always pleasant. No matter what is going on in their lives, they are eager to read, write, and become strong mathematicians. The families of our students are grateful for what we offer to their children and know we will do all we can to help their child to be successful, even if it's baby steps. The staff at our school truly loves these children and we are always finding ways to help them to achieve their goals. We harbor a warm inviting atmosphere that welcomes everyone and celebrates diversity. We are continually working toward helping students feel confident, competent, and courageous. We are a school that is not only proud of our staff, but also our students and families.
