I am a teacher of multi-lingual students. That means English is not my students first language. They come from many different backgrounds and many different cultures. All of my students are working very hard to embrace the English language in school through listening, speaking, reading and writing. We know that reading and reading to children in ANY language builds the foundation for strong academic skills! By having books in many languages available for families we provide an opportunity for students and their families to read together!
