Not only are my students highly motivated and hard-working, but they have enormous personalities. My students receive special education services in a separate room setting classroom for varying disabilities ranging from Specific Learning Disability's to Mild Cognitive Impairments. While the students in my classroom may have been diagnosed with a disability, they certainly do not make any excuses for themselves' and they are aware of the high expectations that have been set for them. My school is an inner-city public school, in which 98.9% of the students come from a low income household and 48.9% are English Language Learners.
