Scholastic News Magazine offers my students the opportunity to learn in small group and whole group settings using current events and activities that are high interest and align with the common core learning standards. They will be used in wholesome small group learning to reinforce skills taught with our adopted language arts program. Since the majority of our students are second language learners, they need additional opportunities to practice reading and writing to continue improving their language arts’ skills. They can also be accessed both electronically and in paper. The subscription includes a variety of preplanned activities to boost language arts skills.
