These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by each students having access to copy high interest chapter books for listening for Read Alouds and Book study. Literacy is a large part of our day and I try to foster a love of reading. I think it is important for students to be able to access print material and read, engage, and discuss the content of the novels. Students will be able to connect more meaningfully with books which will increase interest and motivation to continue reading independently. Connecting high interest chapter books while applying 21st century learning modalities with hands on activities involving coding and robotics. The books will meet 3rd grade Nevada Academics content Standards connect in ELA. They will be motivated by engaging STEM activities which will meet Engineering and Technology standards. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with cross curricular learning.
