What is a kidney table? It is a multi-functional learning environment that helps children learn better and faster. A one-time investment that can be utilized over and over to help many children learn, grow, and change. The teacher sits on one side of the table in a small indentation, and the students surround in a semi-circle for small group instruction. Remember sitting around a campfire? The orientation provides for instant feedback and interaction across the table whether you are learning ABCs, creating a drawing, doing math exercises or practicing spatial orientation. I would like your partnership in purchasing two very special kidney tables that have dry erase board tops and 12 comfortable, academic chairs for the children. I will print Welcome Back on each table, with their individual names printed at their designated seat in beautiful colors. There will be colorful drawings on each table and Dry Erase Pens ready for them to create and add to the drawings. This is the first thing the students will see when they return to the live classroom. It will be a beautiful and functional change that enhances their learning environment.
