This project is broken into two parts. First, the iPad and accessories would help create the SBAC test practicing station within my classroom for students to have the ability to familiarize themselves with the new testing environments in the digital world. These state exams are no longer done in traditional pencil/paper methods, and they require students to know how to use different digital tools to listen, navigate, and find answers. The second part of this project derives from my medical condition that found a nodule in my vocal cord. This nodule, which has become permanent, prevents me from being able to use my voice to the full potential. The wireless microphone would not only bring relief to the voice but also allows me to monitor student progress as I walk around the classroom.
