Fluorescent Light Filters will be wonderful for reducing the awful flickering and will have a calming effect on the students. The filters will help reduce eye strain from the fluorescent lights. Several of my students and I suffer from headaches and migraines. This coming fall, I will have a special needs student that will need a calm environment and the filters will be a huge asset to the classroom. Flexible-seating is used in the classroom, however, a larger variety will allow students to choose their comfort level. Although Flexible-seating is already in place, additional seating is needed to create the environment needed for all children. Soft-Seats and Flex Space Seats would be a wonderful addition to current flexible seating. Students love it, and that's exactly what flexible-seating is about. Happier kids > healthier kids > better engagement > better results. Flexible-seating has been proven to improve academic performance. Children cannot sit still for eight hours! These additions will be a wonderful improvement for my students in the classroom.
