Our school suffered a horrific fire in July. The fire chief contacted the staff and stated because of the water damage and because of the chemicals they used to put out the fire, we weren't allowed to take anything with us. Therefore, I lost my class library. Over the years, I have built up my library to be a library that most teachers would be proud of. I remember seeing the students' faces through the years light up when they looked at a book; especially when we found a book that they were interested in. The students couldn't wait for free time just to pick up that same book. I would love to see that once again.
