Stress is a fact of life, but we rarely teach our children coping strategies that are conducive to their health. With my Mindfulness for Stress Management class, I aim to teach our high school students yoga, meditation, breathing strategies, and journaling to help them understand and acclimate to their stressors. My hope is that they can continue beyond the class so that they are able to be highly productive, but also balanced individuals who feel secure in themselves. My students are learning meditation and relaxation, but sometimes we get distracted by our discomfort when we're sitting on the floor. Help my high school students to gain healthy habits by allowing us to purchase yoga bolsters. Yoga bolsters are used to sit comfortably to meditate, but also we can use them to stretch in a restful manner. These yoga bolsters will get used every day!
