My class currently consists of twenty-four students and myself. They are an enthusiastic group of third graders who are anxious to learn and explore their world as they know it. Updated technology and non-fiction literature such as the Time for Kids magazines would allow me to greatly expand my reach to each one of my students even though I am still only one teacher and can only be in so many places at once. They can discover new things from the magazines, have suitable grade-level content to read and discuss as a classroom or in small groups. They can take computer-based tests that I can use to evaluate their performance, all while teaching the classroom as a whole. My school really is an awesome school and we want to do the very best possible for our students. I want each one of them to embrace their awe-inspiring wonder of the world and be as ready as possible as they grow up and face challenges in the real world.
