My students are the reason I teach. When I see their face, it makes me thankful that I have a job. These students wake up in the morning ready to learn and achieve great things. I want to see them become proficient in not only reading but all other content areas as well. I have students that do not have access to technology. The only time they get to interact with technology is while they are in my classroom or in resource. I would describe my school as a low income school. Most students in the are in poverty. I also teach military students as well. All of my students have the same problem, they do not have the access to the resources they need. The students at this school care about their learning, and they will go to the extreme to make sure they learn.
