The dance program provides the high point of every assembly: bringing kids to their feet and smiles on everyone’s faces. Each dancer is required to maintain strong grades and be positive examples around campus. However, each dancer's energy, creativity, and commitment to being part of the school gets cut short with lack of resources and funding. More than half of the students at Nicolas are on free or reduced price lunch. The families of these dancers offer their support to the best of their abilities but it is just not enough.

About my class
