I want to provide as many opportunities for them to experience the full range art can encompass. Currently I am working to create a blended learning environment. Where the students are not just listening to me teach but also given the opportunity to explore for themselves. I am hoping to raise enough money to get 5 – 15 ipads and pressure sensitive pens so I can have the students not only research in their small groups but also use computer graphics programs like procreate and Photoshop. So many of the art based jobs today require the ability to use computer graphics programs such as these. No matter what career they choose these programs can be a part of what gives them an advantage. I want to give my students experience with these programs at an early age. This will enable them to develop and hone their creative thinking skills in order to be able to use them throughout their lives. Not only will these programs give them creative thinking skills, but also the ability to advertise for themselves and make their voices better seen.
