My students come from all over North Carolina (but most from the Raleigh/Durham area). This is their very first year at our new school and they are adjusting quite well to a new way of learning and thinking. These students are bright and eager to learn anything and everything. Our school is a brand new, tuition-free, charter school in North Carolina that serves students from K-6 in the Raleigh/Durham area. Parents moved their children to our school because they wanted a new and different choice for their child's education. Since we are a charter school we receive less funding then a traditional public school would which forces us to be very conscious about how we spend our school's budget.
