These microphones will help my students by helping them be heard during our performances. In our theatre classes, my students perform scenes and songs. Having amplified sound will help the audience hear and appreciate the work my students do. In addition to performances, having these mics will serve as a jumping off point for our sound design unit. It's important for students to have hands-on experience when working with the technical aspect of theatre. We regularly have guest speakers and instructors, these mics will also help them reach our students. We do not have an auditorium, so we use either the cafeteria or gym for performances, a non-amplified voice gets lost in these spaces.
