My students are from a very diverse, high-poverty location. I serve approximately 450 four year old children through 5th grade students. We also have self-contained special education classes that are integrated into my music classroom. All the children are active and enjoy music games that make them get up and go. For the majority of my students, music class at school will be their only opportunity for music exploration and expression.
