The Ipad Air WiFi allows me to teach while walking around the classroom without having to constantly interrupt the flow of engagement. Teachers spend a lot of time going back and forth to their desks to change what the students can see on the overhead. Students need individual instruction, and this device allows for a much more seamless flow of the lesson. Student engagement lags significantly whenever the flow changes for any reason. But engagement is maintained when technology allows teachers to continue working individually but also utilize the different platforms and programs available through wifi. Also, with more hybrid model teaching since the beginning of the pandemic, students online can now communicate instantly with me so that I can maintain their focus and engagement as well.
