A large majority of students do not have access to computers or technology at home. School is their only means to learning and practicing with technology to develop necessary 21st century skills. These fourth graders have an unmeasured passion for learning and continuously strive to engage with more meaningful, real world events that impact their lives directly. Having access to newer, working computers will give them the experiences required to be successful adults! Students are too often sharing or working with computers that do not work. Additionally, a subscription to TIME for Kids magazine will give students access to current events at their level, making them critical thinkers and fully prepared for college and career experiences.
