Hello, I have the privilege to work with high school student in Jamaica, New York. I am the Physical Education, health teacher and also am the Head coach of the Varsity Boys and Girls basketball teams. Recently the PSAL has passed a rule the all basketball teams need a shot clock at there home games. We do not have a home gym and our small athletic budget is used on travel and renting out gym space to host our home games. I would greatly appreciate it if I could get a basketball shot clock so we can continue our programs and help impact the lives of our student population. The shot clock will ensure the continuation of the athletic basketball program in my school. This will also help student athletes have an opportunity to participate in the PSAL MPL throughout NYC. I believe all students need outlets to help stay off the streets and build vital skills needed to succeed after high school such as: dedication, work ethic, goal setting, and team building skills. Please help.
