My students are in need of an updated teacher computer. This technology will allow students to learn through a variety of ways such as interactive video and audio. Many of my students have limited exposure to learning opportunities and lack academic support outside of school. As an educator, I strive to involve my students with innovative learning. Most of these children are rarely able to access technology in a way that supports and/or extends their learning. More than half of this class has performed below grade level on standardized testing. They are easily discouraged and require a lot of support, but are capable! The differentiation available through technology-based learning will support many of their needs.
