My students are an incredible group of middle school learners with multiple disabilities and autism who bring unique strengths, personalities, and perspectives to our classroom each day. They have a wide range of communication abilities and learning needs, but they all share a desire to learn, connect with others, and become more independent. Through patience, creativity, and hands-on experiences, they work hard to develop important academic, social, and life skills. Their perseverance, kindness, sense of humor, and determination inspire us every day. With the right supports and opportunities, these amazing students continue to exceed expectations and make meaningful progress toward their goals.
