My school is a fine arts academy, so that says a lot about my students. The atmosphere here is so different than any other place that I have ever been. Our students are more accepting, more compassionate, and they have a huge desire to learn. My favorite thing about my students is how much they support each other. This can mean from going to recitals, volleyball games, or even helping each other with classwork. My students come from all walks of life, but that doesn't seem to matter to them. They truly admire each other's talents, and want to see each other succeed. I see this in all of my students, freshman and seniors alike. Being a fine arts academy, I think my students are well on the road to being well rounded citizens when they graduate high school. Some of the classes offered to them include piano, martial arts, photography, art, ballet, guitar, stagecraft, show choir, and many more. My school is very much set up for every student to succeed both academically, and in life.
