My second grade students are culturally and economically diverse. Many of them have limited exposure and experiences to draw from. However, each unique individual influences our classroom community and adds to our learning experiences. My students thrive on making connections and finding deeper meaning in everything they do. As a teacher, I see them struggle with abstract concepts and ideas and it is my desire to help them bridge the gaps and create eager, proficient learners in all academic areas.
