Being comfortable while learning is essential for success. I want my students to feel comfortable in their classroom. Sitting in hard, plastic chairs all day is not ideal for most first graders. Many students need to stand or wiggle in order to achieve optimal learning. Flexible seating has been found to reduce anxiety and promote student wellness and mental clarity. In light of this, I am requesting 15 wiggle stools for my first graders. Currently, they have regular stools, plastic chars, and scoop seats to choose from. My students would be so happy and thankful to see this order fulfilled.
