We are a caring school in the Bay Area. This year we are a STEAM school focusing on learning through science, technology, engineering, arts and math. Our students are mostly low socioeconomic, second language learners, but I am trying to fill in the gaps so my students, with your help, will be able to compete against their more fortunate counter parts. They are good kids and we are a caring staff. Having our kids learning about the world and exploring thought through multiple methods is sure to aid in their education and skill. Kids are inquisitive and play is natural. Putting those together along with grand challenges will help our students make discoveries and apply them to other subject matter and life. Our students lack many of those toys and learning discussions at home. If we teach them and let them explore now, we are aiding the all of us in our future.
