I teach a fabulous group of second graders in a high poverty community where the majority of my students are English Language Learners in a Structured English Immersion program. I face the challenge of teaching and providing intervention services to a group of students who are below grade level in Reading and/ or Math. With Common Core upon us, it is imperative that my second grade students be critical thinkers, creative writers and life long learners. Bringing digital learning into my classroom will support my students to achieve these goals.

About my class
