Our class is filled with children from diverse backgrounds who have one common tie. They all have at least one military parent. Our school is located next to the a military installation where most of the students reside. These children are eager to learn and willing to make the necessary sacrifices to reach their goals. Many of my students have relocated more than once in their short lives due to the military service their parents perform. They sometimes feel anxious because they attend multiple schools and are required to make new friends. Yet, they are happy and resilient. Each is a beautiful individual with amazing potential to make the world better. They are kind and unselfish. They are wonderful.
