One area that my students struggle with is coming into class ready to attack the day! With these hands on activities, my students will be able to engage their creative minds before beginning their day. These activity stations will allow for them to collaborate with each other in a non-threatening way to create unique things and learning opportunities. My students will enjoy using Building Bricks, Magnetic Building Blocks, Brain Flakes, Gears, Blocks and Blueprints and Interlocking Building Discs to build and create structures. My students will explore creating words using Bananagrams. They will challenge their classmates with Multiplication Tower, Suspended Family and tossing foam dice to create math problems. With these tools my students will not only be excited about coming into class but they will have an opportunity to share and grow their leadership skills through communicating with each other. I am excited to see what they create when given an opportunity to explore!
