I teach a wonderful class of seventeen first graders. Each child is unique and precious in their own way. The demographics of my class consist of seventeen children. There are twelve boys and five girls- there is a lot of energy in our room! :) Many of my students live below the poverty line. They often have difficult home lives. All of my students qualify for ESOL services. My students are very sweet and eager to please. They love school and are excited to learn. The demographics of our school are comparable to our classroom. The school is largely Hispanic, with over 70% of the students qualifying for ESOL services. Our school qualifies for Title I funding.
