This is the first year we have had art classes at our school. We started with an empty room, but thanks to a few donations we have some basic and wonderful supplies. The kids absolutely love coming to art! The first graders are learning fast, and the second graders impress me with the sophisticated creative solutions they come up with for each project. I have about 230 elementary students coming in twice a week. They are mostly first and second generation Mexican-Americans with large and loving families. We also have a great bilingual program!
