Research shows a direct relationship exists between how much time a child spends reading and how well he or she reads and comprehends what is read. As a Title I school, most students come from homes where books are not readily available. The students have shown excitement this year with the few books that we have in our class library. It is my hope to expand this library and continue building their excitement.
