Standards of learning for second grade include understanding of life cycles of both plants and animals. These kiddos are ready to learn - not yet feeling the "yuck" of dirt and grime. It's an experience they'll never forget! My goal is to provide students with exposure to hands on experiences that spark their interest in and commitment to stewardship of our environment. In urban settings, it can be easy to overlook our responsibility to our planet. Students' commitment to caring for our earth and its inhabitants starts here! Please support this group of learners as they navigate becoming our future leaders.

About my class
