The students I service have special learning needs as well as challenges within their family/home structure. The school is located in improvised area where meeting basic needs and safety can be a challenge for the families. The school environment is such that it is a rich opportunity to allow the students to escape the world around them for a few hours and learn skills that can improve their conditions now and in the future.
