The Chromebooks will be used by all levels of students. We will use the computers to research cross-curricular projects, use educational apps and connect globally. My 9th graders are exploring what it means to be a global citizen. I am hoping they can use the technology to increase their awareness and deepen their understanding of the world. The Chromebooks will allow all my students to connect what their learning in History to the world and themselves in order to develop a love of learning and the desire to play a role in the world. My 10th graders have developed awareness of the world in 9th grade and now they are applying their knowledge and have the ability to critically analyze history. Their access to technology will allow them to delve deeper into history and grow as learners. In addition, they will be able to produce their own theories and put their ideas out through our Google Classroom.
